Hello,

How to create a Desktop installer which will automatically use CeAppMgr.exe without using any third party software.  Is there a walkthrough for this?  Please help...

Hi,
Try this - should do what you want.

I use the excellent PocketPCInstaller reviewed on our home page

Hello Pete,

Thank you again for the link. It helped alot.  I only have one question in mind.  Based on the link, how will i install multiple cab files, must i create INI file for each cab files and execute using the CEAPPMGR.exe?

Hi,
sorry - don't know as I use a 3rd party.

I seem to remember when I used the setup project, I just added the cab files as dependencies

Just tried PocketPCInstaller and it put all the files in the app directory (exe files and all the dll's).

Is that normal?

Yes - although you can change the path if you like.

If the dll's are with your exe, you get no version problems
